IOSH MANAGING SAFELY

IOSH WORKING SAFELY

Course Details:
Working Safely course is recognised by CSCS as an equivalent to a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (face-to-face courses only). That means that delegates who successfully complete a classroom based Working Safely can apply for a CSCS green Labourer card once they have also passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Operatives Test.
PRINCIPLES OF RISK ASSESSMENT

This qualification is designed to help improve the workplace culture for occupational health and safety by enabling learners to understand the basic principles of risk assessment.
There is a final risk assessment project based on your own company work activities that each candidate will complete in order to gain the certificate, this process will be knowledge checking to determine the competency of the trainees, feedback and guidance will be provided at all stages, and with this course the trainer will continually asses each candidate throughout the course.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY QUALIFICATION

NVQ/SVQ Level 3, 5, 6 Certification Overview
Studying the NVQ level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Practice, candidates will develop their knowledge and practice the skills required to manage regular workplace duties from an occupational health and safety perspective.
The qualification is assessed based on your day-to-day working tasks within your role – this is known as “on-the-job training “. Evidence collected in the past 2 years can be submitted towards your NVQ/SVQ certification. There is no treading over old ground, just pull-up your historic records and connect with your NVQ/SVQ assessor to check what is suitable.
Who is this NVQ certificate for?
This NVQ level 3 certificate in health & safety is typically intended for mid-level managers, supervisors and workers with existing Health and Safety responsibilities involved in their day-to-day working procedures and processes.
The aim of this NVQ certificate course is to improve the basic SHE knowledge, understanding and skills of employees.
